2008 Oak Hill GNC

With the anticipation of another batch of Texas thunderstorms, the Oak Hill crew made the decision to run all 45 main events on saturday. This turned out to be a great help to many families looking to start heading home for the easter holiday. With first motos only counting for gate position, the main events allowed for some intense racing for the the title. Some good battles, a few title upsets, and even seeing some underdogs come out on top, made this another epic GNC National event.
Blake Wharton won the 125 Pro, 250 A Mod and 250 Pro Titles.

Justin Barcia was the dominate Schoolboy rider taking home the titles in 99-125 Schoolboy 12-16 mod, 99-250F 12-16 Mod and 99-250F 12-16 Stock.

Monster Energy Team Green's Adam Cianciarulo took home the 85 7-11 stock and mod titles.

PJ Larsen won the title in the 125 A mod class with Terren O'dell finishing second.

The 85 12- 13 mod class featured a great battle between Zach Bell and Jessy Nelson. Coming down to the the finishline section with Bell in the lead, both Jessy Nelson and Zach Bell crash into each other both going down. This allowed Colt Nichols to catch up and possibly take the title, it was a uphill drag race between Nichols and Nelson who quickly got his bike fired. Jessy Nelson took the title by only a few inches over Colt Nichols. Jessy Nelson also took home the 85 12-13 stock title.

Kyle Regal has seriously stepped his racing up, taking home the 125 Open Amateur and 250 Intermediate Stock titles.

Suzuki rider Eli Tomac won the 85 14-15 stock and mod tiles and the supermini 85-150 thru 16 title.

Tommy Weeck won the 250 Open Amateur, 450 4 Stroke and 250 Intermediate Mod titles.
